Faith. In. Words.

I am a strong believer in the power of words and this page is dedicated to the influential, passionate, and heart-felt words of others. From Bible passages, my favorite authors,  movie quotes, and song lyrics… All of theses words have touched my heart and I hope they touch yours. :)

*”Strength and dignity are her clothing, And she smiles at the future… She opens her mouth in wisdom, And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”* Proverbs 31:25-26

*”Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it”* Proverbs 4:23

*”Don’t lose your grip on LOVE and LOYALTY. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.”* Proverbs 3:3 ♥

*”I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.”* Psalm 139:14

*”I don’t want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I’m not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It’s like Tiffany’s.”* Audrey Hepburn- Breakfast at Tiffany’s

*”Perhaps we all give the best of our hearts uncritically to those who hardly think of us in return”*  T.H. White

*”You know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides us in this universe; a harmonic connection between all living beings, everywhere, even the stars” August Rush

*”I believe in pink, I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”* Audrey Hepburn

*”A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove… but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child.”* Forest Witcraft

*”I don’t mind living in a man’s world as long as I can be a woman in it.”* Marilyn Monroe

*”Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”* Robert Frost

*”Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken.”* William Shakespeare

*”I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales”* August Rush

*”Don’t Stop Believin’ “* Journey

*”Be nicer than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle”* Unknown

*”It’s often just enough to be with someone. I don’t need to touch them. Not even talk. A feeling passes between you both. You’re not alone.”* Marilyn Monroe

*”And Hansel said to Gretel, “Let us drop these breadcrumbs so that together we find our way home because losing our way would be the most cruel of things.” This year, I lost my way. And losing your way on a journey is unfortunate, but losing your reason for the journey is a fate more cruel. The journey lasted eight months. Sometimes I traveled alone; sometimes there were others who took the wheel. And took my heart. But when the destination was reached, it wasn’t me who arrived. It wasn’t me at all. And once you lose yourself, you have two choices: find the person you used to be or lose that person completely. Because sometimes you have to step outside the person you’ve been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.”* One Tree Hill

*”For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; And For poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone”* Audrey Hepburn

*”It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.”* Alan Cohen

*”Sometimes the beauty is in the attempt…”* Julian- One Tree Hill
